SIOS Access call 2026

Application form opens: 1st June 2026 08:00 CEST

Deadline to submit a proposal: 17th August 2026 23:59 CEST

Announcement of successful projects: 30th November 2026

Projects must be conducted between 1st March 2027 and 1st November 2027.

The purpose of the call is to fund access to the research infrastructure (RI) owned by SIOS member institutions, promoting more efficient use and better integration of the observing system. Users may also access expertise and logistical support from members of the SIOS consortium. 

This year, Virtual Access is also included in the form of funding for contributing to the development of virtual access within the SIOS framework by i) publishing SIOS Core Data that was previously not available, or ii) developing services on top of the data.
