New Monitoring Tool

A new monitoring tool has been published on our website. This interactive map provides an overview of ongoing monitoring in Ny-Ålesund and allows to search targeted for research objects in a certain category. This tool is designed to improve collaboration, streamline data sharing, and to optimize the use of the research in and around Ny-Ålesund.

For example, if you’re an atmospheric chemist studying aerosols, you can quickly filter for all relevant instruments and study sites. This could help you identify potential collaborators, access complementary datasets, or even plan your next field campaign in Ny-Ålesund.

The tool is based on the same data as Svalbardkartet, so there is no data redundance nor the need to register your instrument twice.
