Presentation of the Kongsfjorden System Flagship

The Kongsfjorden System Flagship is one of the four Ny-Ålesund flagships.

Current flagship initiatives include:

  • Giving input to user needs for a new marine infrastructure in Ny-Ålesund replacing the Old Pier.
  • The project funds for the Svalbard Strategic Grant flagship project have been prolonged to 2021. Planning for 2021 activities are under way lead by the new flagship chair Clara Hoppe (AWI) and co-chair Allison Bailey (NPI).
