The glacier Kongsvegen last surged around 1948. Starting in 2014, ice flow speed started increasing in the upper part of the glacier. In 2018, there appeared the first crevasses in the accumulation area. In this talk, an update on the surge progress will be presented, along with preliminary results from the April/May 2021 field season.
