New Land-use plan for Ny-Ålesund 2023-2033

Kings Bay as responsible for the Ny‐Ålesund planning area has announced public consultation of the new Land-use plan for Ny-Ålesund 2023-2033.

Kings Bay owns the Kongsfjord Property (treaty property 38/1) and is responsible for the Ny‐Ålesund planning area under Section 48 of the Svalbard Environmental Protection Act.

The deadline for comments on the land-use plan is 20th of August 2023.
